We’re still alive! I just don’t have a lot of time for blogging. I don’t know when I ever will again, honestly. Right now Baby J is hanging out next to me, kicking her feet happily and sticking her tongue out at me. Mischief and Lady are watching “Booty and the Beast”. Lady is covering her head with her blanket because it is the part where the beast is mad. Mischief has a pirate patch over his eye, and is using a big rubber band as exercise equipment. He is even grunting as he works out.
Life has been hectic, but not as crazy as I was thinking it would be. The two older kids are so good for the most part. It just gets hard when they fight while I’m nursing or get into the fridge. Nursing is going well now. It took us a little while to figure it out, but it is getting a lot easier. I was worried she wasn’t getting enough to eat, but she is now up to 6 lbs, so that is a great sign!
I’m feeling great. I’m still in a little bit of pain here and there, but not bad at all. I’ve somehow miraculously lost 27 lbs since she was born. I guess a lot of the weight was water weight? I still have 10 more to go. My stomach has gone down a lot, but I’m hoping to get rid of the pooch when I can work out again come March. Question for all you people who have had babies: Does your belly button ever go back to looking normal again?
The kids are so good with Baby J. Lady is like a little mother, very protective of her and making sure that no one takes her blanket away from her, and making sure my nursing pillow is always near her. Mischief pretty much ignores her. The other day though, he put a blanket on her. That was pretty exciting as he never pays much attention to her.
Baby J is such a good baby. I think she is still in her newborn coma, which has lasted longer than my other babies did because she was 3 weeks early. But she has such a good disposition and is just the sweetest thing ever. She smells so good, and has the softest skin. I kiss her cheeks and little lips over 100 times a day. I can’t get enough of her. We hope to have one more some day, but I am constantly thinking about how this could be the last time we have a newborn and how I need to soak it all up! I love the newborn stage.
My mom has been such a great help to me. I don’t know what I would have done without her while recovering after Hubby went back to work. I’m so lucky to have such a loving mother.

Physical: Nothin, still taking it easy.
Spiritual: “Come unto me, O Ye House of Israel” by Elder Larry Echo Hawk
A great talk about The Book of Mormon. He talks about his ancestors that are American Indians. He urges us to read and re-read the Book of Mormon. I recently finished the Book of Mormon and was going to read D&C. But I feel strongly about re-reading the Book of Mormon. So far I have read 1 Ne. Chapter 1. But it’s a start. I love The Book of Mormon.
